The COVID-19 pandemic is here to stay for the moment.
We, at King Law Offices, LPA LLC hope you and yours have stayed healthy and safe.
The mask mandates may be over, but we do have hand sanitizer in the office and we do disinfect regularly.
Most of our appointments are by telephone. Video appointments are possible if you prefer, just let us know when you make the appointment. If you need to meet in the office and wish to wear a mask, please feel free. If you wish us to mask up due to your health concerns, please let us know. Please let us know if you prefer an in person appointment.
Court hearings are mostly in person now. If you retain our services, or if we are appointed by a court to represent you, we will send you a reminder letter about your upcoming hearing. It will indicate if you need to appear or not. There are some hearings that are still held by Zoom, for various reasons, and we will indicate if you need to be available by Zoom or other means.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, and are scheduled for an in person appointment or a court hearing, PLEASE call us as soon as possible so that we can make other arrangements, or tell you what documentation we might need to reschedule. Please do not assume your court hearing is continued just because you told us you were ill. We will indicate if we need documentation in order to make the request, or we will be able to tell you if the hearing can be converted to a virtual hearing in order for your matter to not be delayed. Many courts are converting hearings to Zoom or Webex or another platform if the parties are well enough to participate during their quarantine.
